St. John’s Church in Shildon hosted a wonderful night of music, featuring performances by the Aycliffe & Brancpeth Brass Band and the Northern Voices choir, with an audience of over 100 people in attendance.
The evening concluded with a rousing rendition of music from ‘Last Night of the Proms’, featuring classics such as “Rule Britannia”, “Land of Hope and Glory” and “Jerusalem” along with the National Anthem with everyone enthusiastically joining in.
A fantastic £1140.00 was raised with the entire amount going directly to the church funds, thanks to sponsorship by Paul and Lynne Arnold and their company, Fangdale Financial Ltd. Thank you to all who helped and attended and made this such a fantastic event.
