It was a very special night at Hall Garth Hotel on Thursday 26th June for Woodham Academy’s ‘Class of 2025’. After an intense year focussing on GCSE’s, the Year 11 students celebrated (in style) the end of their exams and also their last official day at Woodham.
The students had been looking forward to their prom for months and it didn’t disappoint. The setting was perfect and even the weather was kind to them. The girls dazzled in their ball gowns and the boys all looked sharp in their suits. It was a wonderful sight, watching them arrive in so many different vehicles; along with their proud parents and family. And so, the celebrations began with speeches, followed by a look back at their time at Woodham in an emotional video and finishing, as always, with lots of dancing. A great night was had by all; laughter, fun and timeless memories. Mrs Fawcett, Head of Year 11, said “We wish all of our Year 11 students good luck for their exciting future ahead. We are looking forward to hearing all about your successes.”
A huge thank you to the staff at Hall Garth Hotel, Darlington for their hard work in making the Prom a night to remember.
