Dear Sir,
I would like to say ‘thank you’ once again to the amazingly kind people of Newton Aycliffe. Recently the battery on my electric wheelchair suddenly, completely died, having been fully charged previously.
I was in the road, fortunately a minor one, when a lovely lady in a white Jeep stopped to help. I explained what happened and she said “I know how to switch it to manual because my mother had a similar chair.”
The lovely lady pushed me back home and I am very, very grateful because the wheelchair and I together, weigh quite a bit.
I had been going to post a card and the lovely lady even offered to post it for me. I can’t even begin to thank you; the people of Newton Aycliffe, many of whom have helped me in the past. We make a great community of kind, caring, helpful people and we should all be so proud of ourselves and the community we have made in this town.
Thank you all so much,
Michelle, Guthrum Place.
Thank You
