Thousands of employees benefit as local businesses embrace workplace wellbeing.
Businesses across Newton Aycliffe are being encouraged to put employee health and wellbeing at the heart of their organisation, following a year of significant impact through the fully funded Better Health at Work Award.
The Better Health at Work Award is helping businesses across the region create healthier workplaces. The recognised framework supports organisations to develop, embed and sustain effective workplace wellbeing practices, helping employers protect the health of their workforce while creating opportunities for employees to make informed, positive changes to their wellbeing.
Karen Stubbings, Project Development Manager for Workplace Health, said: “The Better Health at Work Award provides businesses with the structure, guidance and support to make that happen, whatever their starting point.
