Around Town – Sunday 17th August
Our thanks to our guests on Sunday 17th August, Paige Hutchinson came into the studio to talk to us about her World Challenge Trip to Sri Lanka in 2027, where she will get the opportunity to work with elephants in one of their many sanctuaries, and engage in a wide range of cultural experiences. Paige brought her mam, Zoe, along for support, but 14 year old Paige proved to be a natural, and totally enjoyed her time in the studio.
The second half of the show was given over to fellow Aycliffe Radio presenter, Colin McNeillie, who brought us up-to-date on his extensive videoed walks made in order to both entertain and raise people’s awareness to the beauty of our local countryside and most recently the thousands of miles he has walked in aid of Alzheimer’s and Dementia awareness in the UK and around the world.
