Of Woodham, Newton Aycliffe, aged 88 years, peacefully on 28th April. Dearly loved Husband of Ann; much loved Father of Stuart and a dear Father-in-Law to Alison. Funeral service to take place in St Clare’s Church on Thursday 22nd May at 11.30am followed by cremation in Durham Crematorium. Following the service, the family warmly invite everyone for refreshments at Woodham Golf Club at 1pm. Family flowers only please. It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the sudden passing of my wonderful and much loved Husband, soul-mate and best friend, Nicky. A dearly loved Son-in-Law to Joyce, Brother to Gillian, Uncle, Godfather and Special Friend to many. The celebration of Nicky’s life will be held on Tuesday 20th May at 1.30pm at Wear Valley Crematorium. Followed by refreshments at The Big Club, Aycliffe. Everyone welcome. Family flowers only. John Allan of Harrowgate Village, formerly of Aycliffe Village, passed away peacefully at home on 26th April, aged 87 years. Beloved Husband of the late Jacqueline, much loved Dad of Gillian and Father-in-law of Paul, devoted Grandad of Robert, dearly loved Brother of the late Raymond, loving Uncle.
