Great Aycliffe Town Council’s Annual Fireworks Display takes place on Wednesday 5th November 2025 at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex.
There will be a children’s fairground and food stalls. Limited disabled parking is available at the pavilion.
The children’s fairground will start at 5.00pm, the beacon will be lit at 6.30pm and the firework display starts at 6.45pm.
This year we have introduced new safety measures, which including bag checks, please arrive early to avoid delays entering the site.
The event is FREE, however those wishing to attend the display must apply for a wristband. Wristbands will be available at the OakLeaf Sports Complex from Tuesday 21st October 2025, the wristbands will be available from 1.00pm until 7.00pm each day until all wristbands have been distributed.
To be eligible for a wristband you must reside in the Parish of Great Aycliffe, supply proof of your address with a recent utility bill or driving licence, one person may apply for their families wristbands.
