Back in April you may have noticed some strange activity on the town. A pack of Zombies were seen trudging through Newton Aycliffe causing panic and chaos wherever they went! They were spotted in the Leisure Centre, down the Burn, at the train station, in the town centre and even down the aisles of Tesco! The question everyone has been asking . . . where have these Zombies come from and where on earth are they going?
Well, they are making their way to the Xcel Centre for Aycliffe Dance Academy’s annual show ‘Dance Evolution.’ 160 of the Academy’s students will be taking to the stage to perform show-stopping routines!
The show is taking place on Friday 8th July at 7pm and Saturday 9th July at 1pm and 5pm. Tickets are £8 an Adult and £6 a Child and can be purchased by contacting ADA on 07908 162868 or bought on the door. ‘Dance Evolution’ is a show that is not to be missed! ADA students have worked harder than ever to put on this extravaganza with lots of exciting surprises in store!
If you dare to watch the footage of the Aycliffe Zombies and want to spot which areas of the town they took over you can find the video on ADA’s Facebook page or find it on YouTube by searching for #AycliffeZombies.
Emma, the Dance Principal would like to thank local business Simply Media Productions for creating the most thrilling zombie movie with her! She would also like to thank the Town Council, Leisure Centre staff and staff at Tesco for allowing them to shoot the movie on their premises and for being so supportive and accommodating!
