Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre Junior Football Club held their annual Christmas Football Party for their thriving 4 – 7 year olds at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex on Saturday 29th December.
There were 30 boys and girls aged from 5 – 8 year old, who left their Xmas presents at home to enjoy a morning of football. Everyone agreed that the quality of football was first class and all games were played with tremendous friendly spirit. The whole day showed what hard work has been put in by the children and coaches throughout the year. There is no doubt that the football club’s future is very bright with the boys and girls playing this standard of football at such a young age.
