Under 14’s Falcons ran out 2-1 winners against Prudhoe in the Final of the Russell Foster League Vase. Goals from Calum Whitfield and Declan Kavanagh saw Aycliffe edge out Prudhoe in a closely fought contest. Really proud of them all. They all gave everything they had and it was a well deserved win.

A really big win for us, putting us above Boro and back into the title race. Overall this was a positive performance from the Falcons who dominated large spells of the game with a real look of confidence throughout the team. Some great football in spells and thrilling to see the players enjoying this great game. Also a big mention for our awesome no. 1 Ryan, brilliant in goal again today. Well done lads. Keep it up. The NAYFC girls had a great weekend of football; wins from the Under 7’s Wildcats against Hartlepool Youth Whites, U10’s Wildcats against Boldon and the U14’s against Consett, as well as a close fought game for the U9’s Angels Blue v Hartlepool Youths with a no score draw.
