This week saw the resumption of training for Newton Aycliffe Youth FC, the longest serving youth football club on the town, following a 16 week suspension due to COVID-19.
The hard work from all the volunteers at the Club meant we were able to welcome back 17 teams & 250 players this week, in a safe and controlled manner.
Everyone is delighted to see players enjoying football again. In these unprecedented times it’s great to finally have some good news.
With contact training now being allowed by the FA full steam ahead for Grassroots football to return in the coming weeks.
As Chairman of the football club I would like to extend my gratitude to all players and parents for their continued support through these tough times as we all adapt to the new procedures.
