Aycliffe Golf Course Junior Junior Andrew Neasham aged 16 hit a hole in one on Sunday 23rd June 2013 and became the youngest ever to achieve this ace in a competition.
Andrew achieved the goal of every golfer playing the 11th Hole, 160 yards into the wind, with a 5 iron. He was accompanied at the time with playing partner Steph Peareth, herself a very competent golfer.
Andrew who plays off a handicap of 8 is the Vice Captain of the Junior Team and was delighted with his shot which took only one bounce before entering the hole.
