A-Tech Training in partnership with Baltic Training Services recently launched the national government funded programme ‘Traineeships’.
The organisation was proud to see a group of local young people reach an impressive milestone for the eight Trainees who graduated into their work experience. The group has now gone through their two week induction journey, which aims to get the young people work ready, with the right attitude and behaviours, which employers wish to see.
All eight trainees delivered an impressive presentation to their future employers and an audience of parents and local business representatives to promote their journey and detailed examples of what they have learned throughout their induction, which will help them progress into their next phase of work experience.
Each trainee gave an insight into areas they have learned and demonstrated such as teamwork, rights and responsibilities, conduct and behaviour, health & safety, dexterity and how their skills and knowledge will help them on their learner journey.
The group gave a positive and strong presentation to a range of business people, and in return received encouraging feedback, so much so that they were given an invitation to present to an Aycliffe network group which hosts 70+ local business attendees this month.
Well done to the group and all parties would like to wish them continued success on the programme.  For further details of this scheme please contact Claire Welsh, Employability Manager of A-Tech Training on 01325 304033
