The Annual Year 11 Awards started in 2009 and recognises the achievements of pupils in their final year of school.
The remit of the award event is to encourage students in their final year of education to excel and possibly win valuable prizes. The awards are broken down into eleven different categories (originally 4), which gives everyone a fair chance of winning. The winners are nominated and chosen by the teachers/staff of the school and the awards are presented by organiser, Paul Howarth, a Director of Newton Press.

- Most Improved Art Student
- Most Improved Music Student
- Most Improved DT Student
- Most Improved Science Student
- Most Improved Language Student
- Most Improved Sport Student
- Achievement Through Adversity Award
- Contribution to the Community Award
