The lucky winner was Norma Park whose grand-daughter, Caroline attends the charities Training Centre in Holmside. Norma said; “Caroline has come on so much since she started at the North East Autism Society, I was overjoyed with winning first prize and will be sharing the winnings with all the family for Christmas”.

Sophie Clarke, Events Fundraiser at NEAS said; “We would like to thank our sponsors for their kind donation of prizes and to our supporters who took part in our annual draw. We raised a fantastic £9,222 which will enable us to fund a further three toddler groups in the North East”.

NEAS toddler group is a free service for parents with toddlers who have/or suspect their child may have autism. With the help of their Christmas appeal the charity hopes to replicate their successful toddler group based at their Centre for Autism in Newton Aycliffe to other towns across the North East.
