Wynyard Park is set to welcome clients and racegoers to Sedgefield Racecourse as they host their charity Raceday on Thursday 7th September. The Raceday will be supporting Alice House Hospice, a charity very close to their hearts.

Alice House Hospice exists to ensure people affected by a life limiting illness or the death of a loved one have the care, comfort and support they need. As the only adult Hospice in the Hartlepool and East Durham areas of the UK, their unique range of services make a vital difference to the lives of thousands of families each year..

Wynyard Park became founder members of the Hospice’s Guild of the Patrons in 2006, with support dating even further back than this. Over the years, they have generously donated in excess of £60,000 to the charity and have lent support to numerous fundraising events.

Jill Williamson, Executive Director at Sedgefield Racecourse said; “We are delighted to be holding the Wynyard Park supporting Alice House Hospice Raceday for what I’m sure will be a successful and profitable day.”

The charity event gets started at 1.10pm and will see a day and evening of hospitality, racing and entertainment at Sedgefield Racecourse to raise much needed funds and awareness for the charity.

Advanced packages are available to purchase with a donation from each package going to the charity. For more information or to book tickets visit www.sedgefield-racecourse.co.uk or call 01740 621925.
