In the first week of December Year 11 students from Woodham Academy undertook mock interviews in preparation for the next stage of their academic careers. The school welcomed interviewers from a variety of different careers into school to to test the students.  They were marked according to a variety of criteria, including first impressions, body language, quality of CV and communication skills.

‘The experience was well worth it’ said Daniel McGill, a student at the school.’ I came out feeling much more confident about myself and my ability to interview well’.

The event forms part of the extensive careers programme which runs at Woodham Academy.  The programme aims to equip all students with the skills necessary to succeed in their working life.  Interviews for Sixth Form and Further Education places will take place in the Spring term.
