Aycliffe’s Got Talent Final 2015 was held at Shildon Civic Hall on Sunday 12th of July. There was a large number of people there to support the acts and watch the show.
The show began with Dylan Jones who danced brilliantly and had fantastic feedback from our judges Adam Baroni Actor, Andy Oliver and Elaine Morgan our people’s judge who is a parent rep for Aycliffe’s under 9 boys football. Together they were brilliant professional judges and gave amazing feedback to all the contestants! We really have some future stars in County Durham.
There were another 9 acts: Elev8, Daniel Wilkinson, Callum Dunn, Joshua Ashton, Olivia Smith, Faith Jones, Maysie Surtees, Amy Harrison and Blake Charlton who were all fantastic!
Our winner was the very talented Olivia Smith who at 11 years old taught herself guitar and finished our show with a cracking performance of “Feeling Good”!
Susan Sadler said: “A big round of applause for Deborah Taylor-Smith who organised Aycliffe’s Got Talent and raised £650. The money was in aid of essential funds for Lifeline Community Action’s yearly retreat and holidays for people struggling with everyday living.
Alwyn White from LCA said the money raised will go towards helping people who would never get a break normally. People who are struggling with illnesses or in financial difficulty can enjoy some time out and enjoy a few days away from their everyday problems.
