Newcastle’s biggest ever Bongo’s Bingo event will launch one of the UK’s largest, free LGBT+ festivals later this month.

The Northern Pride Festival returns to the Town Moor and Exhibition Park from 19 to 21 July and kicks off with the bingo club night on the Friday night.

The evening will be packed full of dancing and cheesy pop tunes, with an array of prizes to be won, and the event’s co-founder, Jonny Bongo himself, will be leading the games and creating a party atmosphere.

And, along with upbeat hits, players will also be treated to a performance from MOBO award-winning Big Brovaz and R&B group Booty Luv.

The event takes place at Newcastle’s Town Moor, with a range of food stalls, bars and a fun fair on site.

Tickets start at £22 plus booking fee and can be purchased at www.northern-pride.com/box-office

All proceeds from ticket sales for the event will go towards helping the Northern Pride Festival stay free.

This year’s musical weekend is spread across two sites, with the Festival Arena setting up on the Town Moor and the Community Village taking place at Exhibition Park.

There is a packed programme on offer across the two days, including performances from top stars including Fleur East, Saara Aalto and Liberty X, the Curious Arts Stage and a variety of zones.
