Dear Sir,

What is so special about the people in Woodham that get their greens and verges attended to so regularly while those elsewhere get neglected?

Moore Lane paths and across the road to the Gretna where I like to go for a meal, are so overgrown its difficult to walk.

The Burn on the Woodham side has nice cut grass while the opposite side is overgrown with nettles. Woodham folk may pay higher council tax, but we all pay and should get the same level of service.

I have friends in Woodham and it seems their greens and  bushes always looks nice. come on Durham County Council give equal attention to our town’s green areas.

This could be something to do with ownership of land. Landlords livin also have responsibility for the maintenance of open spaces.
