Dear Sir,

Can anyone please tell me why the exit to Tesco just near the petrol station still has a give way sign?

The road that comes from the roundabout on Burn Lane has a flow of traffic for Tesco and another lane for what was supposed to be the bus lane for the proposed new town centre which was cancelled in favour of a new scheme. The road to the rear of Argos clearly has a sign saying no motor vehicles except for access, you can’t tell me that so many cars, parked there every day, need access, and if these vehicles do need access to the rear then I think the more safe way of doing this is by making traffic coming down the planned bus lane give way to the 100’s of cars exiting Tesco.

I have nearly had a few bumps at this point and witnessed many more incidents. I’m sure someone may be able to answer why, if the bus lane is not being used by buses, why the traffic using the bus lane has precedence over the more busier traffic coming from Tescos?
