At the Aviator Bar much has been made of our gins and beers. However, one of our unsung heroes behind the bar is our whisky.
Many people have suspected that we only sell gin. However, we cater for all tastes. Our wines will be showcased soon, but our whisky numbers have been increasing slowly but surely, to the point that we now have 29 different malts (along with our three Bourbons).
Scotland is our main supplier, but we are proud to showcase Japanese, Welsh and Indian whisky too. The latter may come as a surprise to many, but the Indian whisky market is becoming increasingly apparent and provides many elite options of the highest quality. Add to this, the well established Japanese whisky market and you can see that we are trying to create as wide an experience as possible for the malt lover.
The stalwarts of Scottish whisky will be pleased to see that we are able to offer malts from all recognised areas: Speyside (fruity and nutty), Islay (peaty and smoky), Highland (cereal and honey tones), Lowland (soft and smooth), Island (wide ranging – citrusy to peaty) and Campbeltown (a small area known for vanilla, toffee and occasionally peaty undertones).
Whether with or without ice, with or without water, come to enjoy our wide range of world-wide offerings and our warm hospitality.
