Local racer Scarlet Dunn was awarded her Wombwell Karting (Barnsley) Bambino Championship 2019 trophy at the presentation evening last weekend.

Scarlet managed to take 11th place in the championship despite missing 4 of the 9 rounds against 33 registered competitors.

In Scarlet’s first season of racing she has managed to achieve many podium finishes including some wins along with very good championship standings with two 3rds a 7th and an 11th place.

What a year 2019 has been in only Scarlet’s first full season of racing! “Scarlet has shown great potential and enthusiasm throughout” said Mam Amanda.

Scarlet hopes to progress into the the faster and higher powered Honda Cadet, 200cc for drivers age 8-13 years for 2020.
