Dear Editor,

The photograph shows a house with almost 3 ft of grass left uncut! It would probably be more difficult to leave it than cut it while they are doing the rest, but whoever lives in these places obviously care how it looks. Council Tax is paid one way or another so the place should be kept tidy.

Is this purely a strategy adopted by Livin to make the place look run down? They may come back and say it is the private landlord’s or tenants responsibility the fact is neither are obviously bothered, so is the answer Just leave it!

Surely an element of common sense must prevail here as it is not fair to other residents living in the area who take pride in how their houses look.

Is this another way for Livin to try and achieve their objective of Regeneration Option 3?
