Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership hold their AGM at Agnew Community Centre on Thursday 22nd April at 7pm following the Public Consultation on plans to extend the Centre which has become the organisation’s HQ.
The proposal is to provide a community welfare hub to service the Agnew and West Ward area of the town. The new build, if it obtains the funding, will accommodate a food bank, and become a distribution point for food and household goods for Helping Hands. The extension will also help increase nursery places and offer other vital welfare services.
Everyone is welcome to the Consultation and the AGM afterwards. GACAP seeks to open the partnership to everyone – All statutory and volunteer welfare groups are invited to send representatives to the meetings.
