Dear Sir,
I am going to vote for Jim Atkinson for re-election to Aycliffe East and Durham County Council. I know if I ever have an issue, I can go to Jim and he will do all he can to fix it! Jim is a problem solver, he has a wide knowledge of the issues facing the Town and County and experience in the areas of work required of the position.
His action on matters of importance to residents of Newton Aycliffe and the Village show us that he puts community interests over special interests. He does not engage those who choose to glean support by deriding other candidates. His focus is helping residents, as well as looking after and improving our area (I was genuinely impressed at how quickly the potholes in my street and surrounding streets got fixed after the snow earlier this year!)
I know Jim has an enviable work ethic and excellent track record. He is also loyal. I have no doubt that Jim will continue to be an outstanding member of the County Council because he genuinely cares about our community and knows how to bring people together to solve problems. Join me and Vote for Jim Atkinson on May 6th!
