Dear Sir,
The edges of the path across the Green in Aycliffe Village have recently been sprayed with weedkiller, with horrific results. I would suggest that whoever is in charge should come and see the result of lazy and thoughtless gardening.
The brown and orange burnt edges will not grow back or improve; they are now a permanent feature unless cut out. A total disgrace on one of the prettiest village greens in the county.
