I am standing for re-election in the West Ward, having served 22 years as your local Councillor. As usual, I will be putting out detailed leaflets, so I will just say this, this election is about you.
The Independents who are standing are amongst the best quality ever to stand in Great Aycliffe. We work together as a team for the good of the community, but we retain the right to obey our conscience, do what is right and put you, the community, first, not a Party whip or Party ideology. We believe in infinite diversity in infinite combination.
Vote Independent first and foremost, only vote for other parties if you feel you must, but remember, you do not have to use all your votes. Don’t vote for anyone who does not live in Newton Aycliffe.
Fortune favours those who use their judgement. Together we can break the one-party state mentality.
