HEALTH and wellbeing, Charity Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) is offering a range of activities that can help you build your skills and confidence this February:

Save Money, Recycle Your Wardrobe – Starts Thursday 6 February for 4 weeks

Who doesn’t like to save money? This course will give you the basic skills needed to upcycle your wardrobe. It’s also a great opportunity for meeting new people and sharing ideas. This course is free, however you will need your National Insurance number and proof of residency.

Level 2 Food Safety in Catering – Monday 24 February

Gain an awareness and understanding of the importance of food safety and knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures expected in the catering industry. This course is free, however you will need your National Insurance number and proof of residency.

First Aid for Baby & Child – Wednesday 26 February

Having the skills and confidence to step in really can make a difference. Learn how to cope with multiple situations, including choking, basic life support, burns and scalds, poisoning, head injuries and more. This course is free, however you will need your National Insurance number and proof of residency.

Creative Wellbeing – Monday’s, 10.00am – 12.00 noon

Join other local artists in this informal self-led art session. Allowing members to come along, share ideas and get creative using their own art materials. Artists of all levels are welcome and refreshments are provided. Cost £3 per session.

Veterans Breakfast Club – 1st Wednesday of the month

Dig-in Gardening – Monday’s and Wednesday’s, 10.00am – 12.00 noon

Some activities are free and provide a wheelbarrow full of benefits! Join our team of garden volunteers and meet new people while getting active. Learning key skills in garden management while giving back to the community. PCP Community Garden is open to the public to enjoy year round!

Hula Exercise – Tuesday’s 5.00pm – 5.45pm

Who said exercising couldn’t be fun! Hoop your way into fitness with our disco-style exercise class! Twist up a sweat, meet new people, reduce stress whilst losing weight! Cost £4 per session.
