Newton Aycliffe Junior Football Club Under 7’s have been awarded the ‘Fair Play’ award from the TJFA for the 2011/2012 Season. On Thursday 7th June 2012 the Under 7’s travelled to Tall Trees in Yarm to receive their award. The team looked very smart and all behaved impeccably throughout the evening. Every team member was awarded a medal and Craig Turnbull (Manager) and Tina Greaves (Team Official) accepted the Trophy. Manager Craig Turnbull stated “I am very proud of the team and they are a credit to the Club. This award gives Under 7’s ‘Fair Play Award’ us a perfect end to a fantastic first Season.” The Under 7’s have played throughout the season in the Green Division of the TJFA, playing some excellent football and in total have scored 100 goals.
They have played some very tough games and in some very tough weather conditions, but as a team they always show determination and kept on scoring goals. The team will continue to train in preparation for the new Season. At training the coaches ensure the team spirit and attitude toward the game and each other is emphasised. This reflects in the way in which they all play as a team and in the results they have achieved. NAJFC Under 7’s will continue in the TJFA League next season. You can find the Under 7’s on the web at www.najuniorfc.co.uk. Thank you to all the parents and supporters for your continued support and thank you to AC Door Systems for your continued sponsorship.
