The Newton Aycliffe, British Legion, Country & Western Line Dance Section were asked to appear at Ferryhill, Dean Bank Park, Summer Fair on Sunday, August 2nd.
The weather held out and although it was hard work dancing for an hour on the grassed area of the arena, the volunteer dancers, including a couple from the audience were all excellent and were encouraged throughout with rapturous applause from a fair sized (pardon the pun) very appreciative audience.
Angie the Line Dance Instructor would like to say a big thank you to everyone who turned up to promote and represent the club and hope that they enjoyed it as much as she did. They meet every Thursday night for a lesson at 8pm followed by an artist and bingo. Entry is only £3 which includes a free raffle ticket. Everyone is welcome to come along to a fun night of entertainment.
