Susan Sadler GACAP’s Vice Chairman and founder of Lifeline Community Association chaired the GACAP September meeting welcoming all partners
Two new partners representing Great Aycliffe Cancer Support were introduced to the ever growing number of partners wanting to link in together to support those who are less fortunate in our community.
Allison White and John Bell explained that their group started out with 10 members 2 years ago but had now increased to 26/30. They meet at NAYCC on a Thursday Evening.
She advised that the group was open to all, cancer being no respecter of age or gender. Funding from various sources had helped the group go on holiday and have some exciting days out and adventures.
Once again the meeting of the partners of Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership was overflowing with enthusiasm from one partner to another and the exchange of advice between people left the meeting room buzzing after the meeting ended with no one making a dash for the door. So if you feel your organisation has anything to contribute to GACAP or you just want to know what is going on the next meeting is as the Agnew Community Centre at 4pm on Monday 5th October. See you there.
