When local club “New Friends New Places” held their Christmas Party they were entertained by the leader of the Chyrelle Adams Cancer Support Group. She is a fantastic singer and she works with the Cancer Support Group in Crook where people from across the County visit her for support advice and information. The Group have a large new caravan at Crimdon Dene where people who are going through, or recovering from cancer, can stay and spend time with their families.

After giving the group a brief talk on her group a member of New Friends New Places made a donation to Chyrelle of £50. A photo was taken of Chyrelle and the chairperson of the group, Dorothy Bowman, donating the money. Dorothy has visited the group and in the near future will be taking members on a visit as the Support Group does activities in which “New Friends New Places” have an interest.
