Dear Sir,
Why have the owners of the Town Centre gone to such great expense to create over-the-top paving only to recoup the cost from the shopkeepers through extra service charges which they cannot afford?
All this yet we still have flat rooves, metal frame windows which need repair. Then they have taken down shop awnings and there is no shelter from the rain?
I also wonder why a solid building like Churchill House should be demolished when there is a shortage of housing and it could be converted to flats?
When it is complete I see our town centre becoming an even more cold and windy place to shop.
Mrs Lawler
