Reader Janet Pye has noticed that so far, no litter bins have been installed as part of the new town centre development, after the old ones were removed a long time ago.
We contacted Bryan Haldane, Town Centre Manager who said there will be up to 16 new litter bins installed throughout the Centre.
“We did try putting in some temporary bins but these were vandalised and as such we took them out and the maintenance team now pick several times a day” said Bryan.
