At Woodham Academy students are acknowledged for their hard work, effort and good behaviour across the school. This was recognised in an awards ceremony held last week. The deserving students were presented with certificates for their excellent behaviour which had been noticed by teachers and staff. Students were also recognised for their efforts in the house awards system which encourages young people to become exemplary citizens by applying good effort in the classroom, having a positive attitude and being well behaved.
On Wednesday 11th December, the top 12 students with the most house points were rewarded with an afternoon tea celebration complete with cakes and scones.
The youngsters had achieved 1,138 points between them in the space of 11 weeks. A huge well done to all the young people from Woodham Academy recognised in the awards ceremony this term.
