Timpsons are opening a retail pod at Tesco’s and should be open by the end of October. Planning permission was sought and approved at a recent County Council meeting.
The company offer shoe repairs, house, signs and locksmiths services to car keys, photo processing, dry cleaning, key cutting, locker repairs, engraving jewellery and watch repairs.
Whether all these services will be available at Tesco is yet to be seen, but it will certainly affect some existing traders in the town.
