Many thanks to everyone who came to see June and I on Saturday 27th November in the town centre – it was a shame about the weather but it turned out well for our prickly babies here in Rescue. Thank you to Aycliffe Radio for inviting us along, we made a nice amount of money which will be used for food and medical supplies.
We will be at the Scout Hall on Saturday 4th December between 1-5pm, there will be lots on offer, a tombola, also a raffle, we have some lovely prizes, bottles of whisky, wine, £20 McDonald’s voucher, a Tesco gift card, a voucher from The Worx and some Jimmy Choo perfume, etc, etc., not to mention help, advice and information about our Prickly Pals.
Denise and I want to thank Jackie and her hubby for their donations, also two very kind ladies I haven’t met yet called Doreen and Lorri, they went around Avon Court selling knitted items, all proceeds come to our rescue. We have a lot of people to thank, the list is endless.
We are overwintering our hedgehogs now, the weather stopping us from releasing, none of ours will be hibernating, some are too small anyway, the British Hedgehog Preservation Society are there to help find rehabbers for those who need help with hedgehogs and also friendly advice if necessary, they can be contacted on 01584 890801.
