Dear Sir,
I would be grateful if you would allow me to use your pages to thank the lady and gentleman, complete strangers, who stopped and came to my assistance last Thursday after I tripped in a pothole whilst running through School Aycliffe and landed heavily on the footpath.
The lady was all for calling an ambulance as my face, hands and knees were covered in blood, but the gentleman kindly turned his car round and drove me down to Bewick Crescent Surgery to see if the deep cut above my eye needed stitches. It did, and I spent the afternoon in A & E being seen to.
Thank you to two ‘Good Samaritans’ for your concern.
