Dear Sir,

I would like to thank the lady who helped me at Argos recently, whilst I was trying to buy a shopping trolley but was refused as I had not pre-ordered the item.

There must be a lot of older people especially, who could be caught out, when the service Argos offer is for collection only.

If Argos has put some thought into their service, I am sure they could have dealt with my request better, instead of me having to rely on a ‘stranger’ to order the item on their phone and collect immediately.

I am calling you my Coronavirus angel . . . as you wouldn’t accept any payment, I am planning to give PCP the money.
