After doing well and getting through her first audition with Open Mic UK, Deborah Taylor-Smith was raring to go to sing in the regional final at the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle.
She sang her version of a “Thousand Years” by Christina Perry and was fourth up to sing.
The talent from all the competitors was amazing. Special guests included Giles Potter from X Factor. Three acts were chosen by judges and one chosen from audience votes. Deborah wasn’t one of them, but she had an amazing experience singing in front of judges and an audience.
“Although I didn’t make it I still have a chance as there is one space up for grabs through the wildcard option” said Deborah.
The lines are open until 17th November and she needs votes to get her through to one step away from performing at the O2 Arena in London.
