Sedgefield 75 had 7 swimmers competing this weekend at the Derwentside Development Meet.  Between them these swimmers came away with a total of 10 medals between but it was the PBs for the swimmers which were even more impressive.
Competing in a total of 31 events the swimmers achieved an amazing 22 personal best times.
Emily Alderson won gold and PB’d in both her events, 100 and 200m freestyle. Peter Golightly also came away with 2 golds in the 100 and 200m breaststroke and a bronze in the 50m breaststroke and a place in the NERs with a PB in the 100m breast. Katelyn Craig won 3 medals, silver in the 100m freestyle, and bronze in both the 200m freestyle and 100m backstroke.
Amy Gittins and Kate Carmichael both won medals the 200m freestyle, Amy claimed a silver and Kate, took away a bronze. Other swimmers representing Sedgefield 75 were Carla and Kate Abel who both achieved personal best times in all their events and Lauren Chatt who also had PBs in some of her races.
As always the entire team were a credit to the club and all came away with great results gained from their hard work during training.
