For the second year running, Stephenson Way entered into the spirit of Children in Need, with the children participating in a range of activities and competitions to raise funds and learn about how Children in Need helps and supports other children around the UK.
The theme of the day was super heroes and the children were encouraged to come to school as their favourite character.  The children and staff responded to this challenge with great enthusiasm and a wide range of superheroes were observed teaching and taking lessons around school.  The children and parents were very generous with their donations and over £600 was raised.
As part of the day, the children were invited to dress a teddy bear at home and enter it into a best dressed bear competition in their class. There were spots and eye-patches aplenty as lots of children entered in each class and the best dressed bears were awarded a prize.
