It’s that time of year again when the streets are filled with vampires and zombies and parents share bowls of sweets and treats to those who dare knock on their door. Of course we’re talking about Halloween.
Two local businesses really getting in to the spirit of Halloween are newly opened ROF 59 situated on Aycliffe Business Park and Woodham based Aycliffe Dance Academy. The two are joining forces to bring an afternoon of ghosts and ghouls for young and old alike.
If you’re looking for an alternative spooky celebration this year then head down to ROF 59 on Durham Way South, DL5 6XN on Sunday 1st November from 2:30pm to 5:30pm for their Super Scary Sunday afternoon. Entry is free but some activities will be chargeable. From climbing the deadly heights and dancing in the Witchy Workshops to taking part in the Creepy Craft Corner and Frightening Face painting, not forgetting Grizzly Games and the competition of Best Dressed, there are lots to take part in.
Please note that if children are wanting to Bounce or Climb, gym wear must be worn and an adult must be present.
Super Scary Sunday has been organised to raise much needed funds for ADA’s portable dance mirrors. If you’d like more information about the event please visit Aycliffe Dance Academy on Facebook or Emma Cox 07908 162868.
