Do you have a child aged between 6 – 11 years and are they interested in cricket and would like to give it a try?
Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club will again be holding the hugely popular summer play scheme at Moore Lane Sports Club every Wednesday morning between 10.00am and 12.00 during the school summer holidays, commencing on Wednesday 22 July.
Members of the senior squad will be present to organise Kwik Cricket and other fun games aimed at getting children at all levels interested in the game.
It is hoped that some of the children will then be invited to train with the Clubs development squad during the winter months with a view to joining the Clubs under 11 and under 13 teams next summer.
The play scheme, which will be supervised by members of the Club vetted by the Disclosure and Barring Service, costs £2 per session and is open to boys and girls of all abilities. All necessary equipment to participate will be supplied by Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club.
For further information about the scheme or to register your child please contact Club Secretary Lee Weldon on 07759 754 959.
