The new Summer Term Community Learning Programme at Greenfield Arts is now available with lots of opportunities for everyone.
We offer various sessions for young people, including after school clubs in art, music and yoga, specifically designed to suit young people. We also host the South Durham School of Dance which is a constant fixture at the centre and a great opportunity for young people to develop their passions.
Our specialist art courses this term show the return of familiar faces due to brilliant feedback and high demand. They include a one off ‘Digital Textiles’ workshop with SHED Head Rebecca Hayman, learn how to turn your drawings into patterns and print them onto fabric using specialist equipment in The SHED artist’s hub, with three available dates; and ‘Drawing Techniques’ by Elena Zeniou, this introduces the basic principle of drawing and how to blend colours, create shades and tones, with an added 5 week course for artists wanting to develop their skills further.
We offer many other courses for adults, which run for 10 weeks at a time in various arts and well-being disciplines including Spanish, meditation, fitness, health and music. They are a great way to meet new people and develop a new skill in time for Summer.
If you would like to join any of the above courses or find out more please check out our website www.greenfield-arts.co.uk or contact Greenfield Arts on 01325 379048, info@greenfield-arts.co.uk or pop in and speak to one of our members of staff.
