In the build up to Christmas, children from Stephenson Way School are aiming to spread festive cheer around Newton Aycliffe with a series of carol performances at locations around the town.
Christmas is a time for community spirit, which we wish to share with some of the elderly residents of our local care homes. We hope that our Year 6 children’s visits to Rose Lodge and Aycliffe Care Home next week help to brighten up their festive season.The school’s performing arts club will also be entertaining the town’s shoppers on Wednesday 11th, with a performance at Tesco. What better way to enjoy the Christmas shop than to do it against the backdrop of beautiful carol singing? The performance is scheduled to start at around 1:30pm and any and all support would be greatly appreciated.
