The organisers of the County Council annual awards scheme which recognises outstanding environmental work in County Durham are seeking sponsors.
County Durham Environment Partnership is hoping to hear from companies and organisations interested in sponsoring this year’s awards, which will open for entries in June. The County Durham Environment Awards have taken place every year over the last 26 years and during that time more than 850 projects involving thousands of people have received awards or commendations.
To keep running costs to a minimum organisers are inviting companies to support the scheme via one of three sponsorship packages. Details of the packages are available at www.countydurhampartnership.co.uk/envawards
People can also find out more by contacting Durham County Council on 03000 265 545.
