A fundraising swim has been organised in memory of 14 year old Hannah Leigh who died from a stroke last November. Her Uncle,  Graham Hall, has brought together 40 supporters and staff from the Leisure Centre to raise money for Ronald McDonald House and Acorn Hospice.
Both charities were fantastic and a real source of help to the family during that terrible time. The swimathon will highlight the hard work and dedication the two chairities provide on a daily basis and a way for family members to show their gratitude.
“I would like to thank my work colleagues and the wonderful people of the town and surrounding areas for kind donations received.” said Graham.
If you would like to take part or donate please contact Graham on 07584 624882. The swim is on Thursday and Friday 5th – 6th February from 12 noon to 12 noon.
