Child Bereavement UK has held a series of special Snowdrop Walks across the UK. The events, which are held at iconic locations across the country, are a day to remember the babies and children who have died and children who are bereaved each year. This year’s events in Durham, Cheshire, Buckinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Cumbria have raised £5,154.75 for the charity, which supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. David and Julie Kilpatrick have been the driving force behind the Snowdrop Walk in Sedgefield since 2008. “We’re delighted with the success of this year’s events and would like to thank everyone for their continued support for Child Bereavement UK”, said Julie If you haven’t been able to attend an event but would like to donate to Child Bereavement UK, just go to https://childbereavementuk.org/get-involved/donate/give-once/ and add the reference Snowdrop.
